Passionate About Making A Difference In Derby?
Join our dynamic regeneration team to influence economic policy, solve complex challenges, and achieve positive change through job creation, housing, and city centre growth.
Derby, the UK’s capital for innovation, is at the heart of the country’s aerospace, rail and automotive sectors and is home to an expanding network of advanced technology businesses and professional services. Derby has a vibrant creative sector and outward-looking businesses operating in global markets. Derby’s economic performance is amongst the strongest cities outside the South-East and the city is renowned for its innovation, research and development. However, much still needs to be done to achieve greater inclusive economic growth and to transform our city centre.
At the forefront of the local public sector’s response to these challenges sits the Council’s Regeneration & Economic Growth Division. The Division is being restructured to adapt to the recent creation of the East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA) and changes to funding programmes that it manages. Consequently, we now have a number of exciting opportunities to join our dynamic team.
